Private moderation log channel for Telegram
Connect your own Telegram channel and receive the important STOP SPAM decisions from groups managed through your account: what was removed, why it happened and which admin actions remain available.
Updated September 9, 2026. The guide matches the current connection and authorization flow.
Why use a separate log channel
Group notices are intentionally short and temporary. A private log channel keeps an administrator-facing record without adding service noise to public conversations. It is useful when one person manages several communities or wants to review uncertain decisions later.
What a log card contains
- the source group and member identity available to the bot;
- the action: deletion, mute, ban or review;
- the category, detector reasons and SpamRating;
- an excerpt of the original message, limited to 400 characters;
- contextual actions such as Not spam, Immunity, Lift restrictions, Mute or Ban.
Automatic events and human-resolved cards are separate records. A status line explains what was actually completed; it must not be read as a promise that every Telegram request succeeded.
A person who can see the private log does not automatically gain moderation power. STOP SPAM verifies current administrator rights in the source group when a button is pressed.
How to connect the channel
- 1
Create a private channel
A private destination is recommended because cards may contain message excerpts and moderation history.
- 2
Add @stopusdt_bot as an administrator
Grant permission to post messages. The person connecting it must also be an administrator or owner of the channel.
- 3
Forward one channel message
In a private chat with STOP SPAM open “How to setup” → “My log channel” → “Connect channel”, then forward any message from the new channel.

Delivery and replacement
One current log channel is stored for each administrator account. Connecting a new one changes where future records are sent; it does not erase the old Telegram history. Removing STOP SPAM from the channel or revoking its posting permission stops new log delivery but does not stop moderation in the protected groups.
Privacy boundary
Use a private channel and invite only the people who genuinely need access. The log is an operational audit feed, not a public blacklist. Deleted messages cannot be restored from Telegram; the stored excerpt exists to explain the decision, not to reproduce the entire conversation.
Moderation log FAQ
Does the log channel replace notices in the group?
No. It is a separate administrator feed. Public notice behavior still follows each group's settings.
Can a button be used after an admin loses their role?
No destructive action should proceed on an old assignment alone. STOP SPAM checks the live Telegram status before the action.
What if the channel stops receiving records?
Check that STOP SPAM is still a channel administrator and can post. Group protection continues even if delivery fails.
Does changing the channel move old records?
No. New records go to the new destination; existing Telegram messages remain where they were originally posted.
