Multilingual Telegram bot: your UI and the group language

Need a multilingual Telegram bot? STOP SPAM separates the private admin interface language from the group notice language, so admins and audiences can speak differently.

✓ 4 interface languages✓ Separate group language✓ Handy for mixed teams

Updated September 16, 2026. Matched to the admin-language and group-language screens.

Why languages are separate

An admin may speak one language while the group audience uses another. STOP SPAM supports that: the private interface language and the group notice language are configured separately.

Example

Keep the bot private UI in Uzbek or Russian, while an English group receives bot notices in English.

What changes

  • button and screen language in the private chat with the bot;
  • notice language inside a specific group;
  • not a translation of member-to-member messages.
Admin language set to Uzbek
The admin private language can be Uzbek, for example. Screenshots currently show the Russian bot chrome around the choice.
Group language set to English
The group notice language is chosen separately, here English.
Group language saved as English
After saving, the group shows the selected language, for example English.

How to set it up

  1. 1

    Open the bot privately

Choose the admin interface language: Russian, English, Ukrainian or Uzbek.

  2. 2

    Open the group settings

Go to AntiSpam settings and select the chat.

  3. 3

    Change the group language

Pick the notice language for that audience and save.

Who benefits most

Owners of multi-chat networks, moderators with foreign audiences, and teams where admins and members speak different languages.

Language FAQ

Can the bot UI and the group notices use different languages?

Yes. The private admin language and the group notice language are separate settings.

Which languages are supported?

Russian, English, Ukrainian and Uzbek.

Where do I change the group language?

In AntiSpam settings for the selected group there is a separate group-language option.

Does this translate members messages?

No. It changes the bot interface and service notices, not people-to-people chat.

Built for mixed teams

Talk to the bot in your language and to the group in theirs

Separate languages remove confusion in multilingual communities.
